Worn Out: 9.0 Korto Momolu
Korto Momolu (pronounced "cut-toe" "mo-mo-lu") is an up-and-coming designer, who will soon launch her first fall 2006 collection. A native of Liberia, West Africa, she grew up in Canada and moved around throughout much of the U.S. before getting married and settling in Little Rock to raise a family. She's a graduate of L'academie des couturiers in Ottawa, Canada, and a former student of Parsons School of Design in NYC. It was there that she decided to branch off from school and start her own line of clothing.
